4. Department Descriptions (part of Agency Profile)
  • Department Description Activity
    Review the agency Purpose Statement.
    Refer to the Staff Development department description as an example.
    In small groups, use the Department Description discussion post to complete the following
    • What is the role of your department in supporting the agency's Purpose Statement?
    • How does your department "improve conditions that improve student learning"? (Indicator 2.4)


5. Complete Staff Perception Survey
  • A similar survey was completed earlier that was aligned with the 7 Standards. (now 5)
  • Progress and improvement has been made since previous survey (as noted at our May Staff Meeting).
  • Artifacts have been added for your reference. We will also discuss other items for awareness.
  • Results will be used for Improvement Goals and to update the agency Self Assessment prior to the External Review.

6. Data Review - Department Goals
  • Data Schedule Review to see the types of data that will be used for discussion and decision-making.
  • Focus Interviews and Action Plan

      • What initial ideas do you have to address these goals?

    • Individual goals for self-improvement connected to department/agency goals and part of evaluation process
